Championship golf, standout cuisine and live music come together on the shores of Lake Las Vegas as the Lake Las Vegas Classic returns to Reflection Bay Golf Club Sept. 25 and 26. The two-day event pairs a golf tournament on Reflection Bay’s Jack Nicklaus Signature Design course with an evening Culinary Feast featuring local chefs, craft beverages and live entertainment.
“The Lake Las Vegas Classic continues to be a special event for our community and partners,” said Jon Openshaw, general manager of Reflection Bay. “It’s always a pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great weekend of golf, food, music and memorable experiences at Reflection Bay.”
Friday’s festivities begin Sept. 25 with a double shotgun scramble on Reflection Bay’s Jack Nicklaus-designed championship course. In addition to tournament play, golfers will receive tee prizes and enjoy a continental breakfast, barbecue lunch and sponsor-hosted food and beverage stops throughout the course.
On Sept. 26, the celebration continues with the Culinary Feast beginning at 5:30 p.m. on the Reflection Bay clubhouse lawn and beach. Guests can enjoy dishes from an impressive lineup of participating restaurants, including The Capital Grille, STK Steakhouse and Marssa Steakhouse. The evening will also feature tastings from wineries, breweries and whiskey makers, as well as a selection of creative cocktails.
Live entertainment will highlight the Culinary Feast, with Woody and LVB taking the stage during the Culinary Feast. Guests can participate in a silent auction featuring exclusive travel and experience packages, including trips to destinations such as Palm Springs, Lake Tahoe, San Diego, Cabo San Lucas and Hawaii.
“The Lake Las Vegas Classic is a weekend we look forward to every year,” Openshaw said. “It gives us an opportunity to bring people together, showcase our award-winning course and create a fun experience both on and off the golf course.”
The Lake Las Vegas Classic supports local charities and youth athletics throughout the Las Vegas and Henderson communities.
