The last time Las Vegas put together a resort-coordinated five-day sale, the results were huge.
Although times have changed dramatically since September 2025 — gasoline prices have skyrocketed as a result of the U.S. war with Iran that began in the spring — Las Vegas tourism leaders say they are confident that people will take notice of the deep discounts on rooms, restaurants, shows and attractions that are being offered on a special website through Saturday.
The coordinated five-day sale includes more than 180 deals with some room rates discounted by as much as 60 percent off normal pricing, several buy-one-get-one deals, $50 tickets to some entertainment events and add-ons like meal credits and package deals for a hotel stay.
Sale deals are posted at visitlasvegas.com/deals/ and are categorized by discounted hotel deals, shows, attractions and dining and shopping.
Through the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the city tried a coordinated sale for the first time a year ago.
While specific boosts in visitation were not revealed because that information, to some resort properties, is proprietary information, resort executives said they were happy with the results.
In an unrelated regulatory appearance before the Nevada Gaming Control Board in October, MGM Resorts International President and CEO Bill Hornbuckle alluded to some of the sale’s results.
“Normally we (sell) 150,000 or 160,000 room nights a week in terms of reservations,” he said in testimony during a Control Board licensing hearing. “We did just under 300,000 (during the sale),” he said when asked if the company intended to continue to invest in Las Vegas.
Among the deals listed in this week’s five-day sale notification:
— Up to 60 percent off room rates and a $25 daily resort credit at the Sahara.
— Up to 60 percent off room rates at the Horseshoe (Caesars Entertainment).
— Up to 50 percent off room rates at Excalibur (MGM Resorts).
— Rates from $69 a night and no resort fee at Treasure Island.
— $50 tickets for Tim McGraw’s Oct. 23, 24 and Nov. 4, 6 and 7 shows at the Colosseum (Caesars Entertainment).
— 50 percent off admission to the Neon Museum.
— 20 percent off rides on New York-New York’s Big Apple Coaster.
— Up to 40 percent off the Australian Bee Gees show at Excalibur.
— Four hours of services for $500 at the Spa at The Linq.
