– Lucas Jaggers, Tech: The senior had a home run, a triple and two RBIs to help the Roadrunners defeat Bonanza 8-3.
– Quinthus Mason, Foothill: The junior finished with two home runs and three RBIs as the Falcons beat Clark 7-0.
– Troy Southisene, Basic: The senior went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs in the Wolves’ 6-3 tournament loss to Temecula Valley (Calif.).
– Taven Thaker, Cheyenne: The senior went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, and also was the winning pitcher as the Desert Shields cruised past SLAM! Nevada 14-2 in six innings.
Softball
– Cheyenne Davis-Stephens, Spring Valley: The junior went 3-for-3 with a double, a triple and three RBIs to help the Grizzlies beat Canyon Springs 10-0 in four innings.
– Sophie Gibson, Legacy: The freshman went 2-for-2 with two RBIs as the Longhorns scored 15 runs in the first inning on the way to an 18-7 tournament win over Altamont (Utah).
– Payton Rogers, Boulder City: The senior had two home runs and five RBIs to lead the Eagles past Hillcrest (Utah) 8-3 in tournament play.
Boys volleyball
– Ethen Natanel, Durango: The senior had 14 assists and seven digs and helped the Trailblazers beat Cheyenne 21-25, 25-16, 15-9.
