LETTERS: Trump still looking backward

I read that the FBI is now looking into the 2020 voting records in Maricopa County, Arizona. President Donald Trump lost his re-election bid in 2020 in part due to more voters in Georgia and Arizona voting for Joe Biden.

Mr. Trump continues to claim he won the 2020 election due to rampant voter fraud. There were more than 80 court cases after that election where the vote results were questioned by Mr. Trump and Trump supporters. Mr. Trump’s case for fraud was proven invalid in all but one court — and the lone outlier case showed a gain of five votes for Mr. Trump.

As president, he is spreading lies about national elections again. As leader of the United States, we should expect the truth from him.

Because he tells these lies over and over again, the FBI should be investigating him. That’s where the fraud is occurring. Lying is an unacceptable trait that we should not accept from the highest office-holder in the land, especially on this very consequential issue.
