Top high school swimmers compete at Pavilion Center Pool — RESULTS, PHOTOS

Several of the top high school swimmers competed at a meet Thursday at Pavilion Center Pool.

Among notable standouts were Coronado girls swimmers and 2025 first-team All-Southern Nevada selections Lia Carrington and Grace Carrington.

Lia Carrington won the 100-yard backstroke (1 minute, 3.46 seconds), and Grace Carrington won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.81). The Cougars are seeking a fifth straight Class 5A team state title.

For the boys, Boulder City’s Duncan McClaren (50-yard and 100-yard freestyles) and Ezekiel Pittman (200-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke) won two events each.

Here are the results from Thursday’s meet:

Boys

200-yard freestyle: Ezekiel Pittman, Liberty (1 minute, 45.62 seconds)

200-yard IM: Sullivan Benes, Centennial (2:01.03)

50-yard freestyle: Duncan McClaren, Boulder City (22.08)

100-yard butterfly: Andrei Fajardo, Legacy (55.91)

100-yard freestyle: Duncan McClaren, Boulder City (48.39)

100-yard backstroke: Ezekiel Pittman, Liberty (54.47)

100-yard breaststroke: Nathan Jobin, Green Valley (1:05.68)

Girls

200-yard freestyle: Calista Ortega, Palo Verde (2:03.88)

200-yard IM: Alexa Pittman, Liberty (2:16.82)

50-yard freestyle: Caris Pollack, Spring Valley and Zealin Prescott, Liberty (25.12, tied)

100-yard butterfly: Ava Estrada, Coronado (1:01.93)

100-yard freestyle: Maddy Dawidian, Centennial (55.78)

100-yard backstroke: Lia Carrington, Coronado (1:03.46)

100-yard breaststroke: Grace Carrington, Coronado (1:06.81)
