Since moving to Las Vegas in 2017, and then to Henderson in 2021, I’ve watched a revolving door of police chiefs and heard too many stories of malfeasance, misfeasance and nonfeasance.
And now, Henderson is hit with another scandal: Council member Carrie Cox is suing a fellow council member over assault allegations (March 4 Review-Journal). Enough already. It’s time for our leaders to focus on doing their jobs — not dominating the headlines.
We deserve stability, integrity and leadership. Let’s give the drama a rest and get back to real work.
