Klint Kubiak was so excited about the prospect of adding a fullback to the roster after taking over as Las Vegas Raiders head coach that his grin when asked about it during the scouting combine has become a meme on social media.
He may have found his guy.
The Raiders agreed to terms with former Steelers fullback and tight end Connor Heyward on Thursday.

Heyward isn’t among the league’s elite talents, but he embraces his role and does his job well.
While he is listed as a tight end and a fullback, Heyward will likely spend quite a bit of time in the backfield in Kubiak’s system.
Heyward will also be an important piece on special teams.
