North Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting that left two people dead Saturday afternoon.
The North Las Vegas Police Department said in a release that the shooting occurred in the 3500 block of Nestled Oak Avenue just before 4:30 p.m. Responding officers arrived on the scene and found the individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, who were pronounced dead at the scene, the release said.
Police said that, based on a preliminary investigation, the shooting is believed to be an isolated incident involving the two deceased individuals. There are no outstanding suspects, and there is no known threat to the public, the release said.
The identities of the deceased will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office following notification of next of kind.
