The Las Vegas Raiders look for their first 2-0 start since 2021 when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The Raiders are coming off a 27-13 victory over the Miami Dolphins as running back Ashton Jeanty had 147 total yards and two receiving touchdowns from quarterback Kirk Cousins.
The Chargers are looking to bounce back from a surprising 26-14 home loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1.
The Raiders could be without star tight end Brock Bowers for the second consecutive week as he recovers from knee surgery and is listed as doubtful. Bowers is expected to work out pregame to test the knee and be a game-time decision.

O’Connell out
Quarterback Aidan O’Connell will not play Sunday against Los Angeles Chargers. Rookie Fernando Mendoza will once again serve as the No. 2 quarterback behind Kirk Cousins.
O’Connell, who served as the emergency No. 3 quarterback last week, missed the final two practices of the week for personal reasons and was listed as questionable, but the team Saturday downgraded him to out.
The Raiders also elevated tight end Chris Myarick and wide receiver Cody White from the practice squad, the same two players who were activated last week against Miami.
White made a touchdown-saving tackle on a kick return and drew praise from his coaches. Myarick provides depth should Bowers, who is listed as doubtful, be out of the lineup as he recovers from a procedure on his knee last week.

It was the sixth of 10 straight losses by the Raiders last season.
Geno Smith was 18-for-23 for 165 yards and two touchdowns, but was intercepted once and sacked five times. Brock Bowers had four catches for 63 yards and two touchdowns.
The Raiders managed just 31 yards on 18 carries.
