It’s time to vote for the Nevada Preps girls prep athlete of the week.
This week’s poll features four players who posted standout performances during the week of Aug. 24-29.
Voting will close at noon Thursday. Results will be reported on Friday.

Here are this week’s nominees:
Liz Barrera, Cimarron-Memorial girls soccer: The senior scored three goals in the Spartans’ 6-3 victory over Pahrump Valley on Wednesday. She has four goals on the season.
Jennessy Garcia, Valley girls soccer: The sophomore scored three goals in the Vikings’ 5-2 win over Cristo Rey Wednesday, and three more in a 6-3 win over Basic Thursday. Garcia has a team-high six goals on the season, to go with three assists.
Alexa Hart, Coronado girls golf: The junior shot 4-under 68 Thursday to win the 5A Desert League match at Highland Falls. The five-time defending state champion Cougars also prevailed in team scoring.
Lacy Mayes, Centennial cross country: The junior covered the 3-kilometer course in 11 minutes, 13.9 seconds to win the 11th-grade race with the day’s fastest time at the Arbor View Invitational at Floyd Lamb Park.
