It’s time to vote for the Nevada Preps boys prep athlete of the week.
This week’s poll features four players who posted standout performances during the week of Aug. 24-29.
Voting will close at noon Thursday. Results will be reported on Friday.

Here are this week’s nominees:
Carmine Barilla, Silverado football: The freshman quarterback passed for 305 yards and three touchdowns Friday to lead Silverado past Cimarron-Memorial 54-0. He enters this week with a 136.8 QB rating.
Diesel Jones, Green Valley: The senior had two goals and an assist to help the Gators defeat Tech 4-1 Monday. The five points were his first of the season.
Blake Nadler, Centennial football: The senior QB passed for four TDs and ran for two more Friday in the Bulldogs’ 74-41 win over Burbank (California). Nadler has thrown for 13 scores in three games this season.
Calvin Rivera, Centennial cross country: The senior covered the 3-kilometer course in exactly 9 minutes to win the 12th-grade race with the top time of the day at Saturday’s Arbor View Invitational at Floyd Lamb Park.
