On Sunday, a U-Haul versus pedestrian crash with life-threatening injuries occurred on East Twain Avenue and Royal Crest Street.
The pedestrian was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk when the U-Haul failed to avoid the pedestrian, launching them onto the roadway.
Medical services responded to the scene and transported the pedestrian to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where they have been admitted for continuous care.
