1 dead, 2 injured after central Las Vegas Valley crash

Police are investigating a fatal crash Friday morning in the central Las Vegas Valley.

The crash was reported at 9:20 a.m. on Edna Avenue and South Highland Drive, near West Desert Inn and South Industrial roads, according to a Metropolitan Police Department release.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others have been transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
