Out with a running back, in with a tight end.

The Las Vegas Raiders waived running back Chris Collier and signed tight end Zack Kuntz, they announced Friday afternoon. Collier was waived with an injury designation after missing Friday’s practice at training camp.

Kuntz played collegiately at Penn State and Old Dominion and was drafted in the seventh round in 2023 by the New York Jets, with whom he spent his first two seasons. Mostly on the practice squad in New York, he was with the Miami Dolphins last season, also on their practice squad.

The Raiders don’t practice Saturday, resuming practice Sunday morning.
