A semi-custom MacDonald Highlands home has hit the market for almost $6 million.

Located at 1456 Solitude Ridge Drive, the Henderson home has multiple luxury amenities and upgrades, but is “really functional,” said listing agent Nicole Knobel with Huntington & Ellis, A Real Estate Agency. The home was listed on May 15 for $5,999,999.

“There’s something just special about it,” said Knobel. “It’s just a very comfortable home. It’s kind of hard to explain.”

Overall, the home is 7,695 square feet, sitting on almost half an acre, with six bedrooms, six bathrooms and a four-car garage. It sits on an elevated lot, with only one neighboring property and panoramic views.

The home is a semi-custom Blue Heron home built in 2024. According to the listing, there are over $2 million in structural and design upgrades, with the owner opting into many upgrades, as well as adding many himself.

“He was very meticulous,” said Knobel about the previous owner, who she also mentioned was a child piano prodigy and started taking college classes around 12 years old. “He has a very mathematical brain.”

Some of the upgrades included adding a retaining wall, leveling out the lot to use the full acreage, adding a second primary upstairs, as well as a second laundry room, a full bar upstairs with a Scotsman ice machine, dishwasher and fridge, as well as as a voice-controlled fireplace.

Knobel’s favorite addition from the previous owner is a custom, over 20-foot maple wall to match the floating maple staircase.

“There’s like kind of weird spaces or a lot of dead areas (in custom homes), but this home doesn’t have any of that,” said Knobel. “It’s really really functional for today’s modern family.”

There’s also multiple other luxury amenities, including a full prep kitchen off the main chef’s kitchen, with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, double ovens and dual dishwashers, as well as a cinema-quality theater room, wine display, commercial-grade Ubiquiti home integration and a Sonos speakers throughout the house.

Knobel also highlighted the neighborhood, MacDonald Highlands, calling it “phenomenal”.

“You go through the guard gate first, and you see teenagers on like golf carts, and it’s really the vibe of the neighborhood and just everything that’s around it, to me, that sets it apart,” said Knobel.
