The median household income of Las Vegas visitors has been climbing since the COVID-19 pandemic as the destination draws a more affluent visitor profile. But a foot traffic analytics firm found a possible key to mass-market appeal: large-scale events. According to Placer.ai data, the median household income was $93,200 for visitors from January to May 2019. That’s compared with $101,100 during the same timeframe in 2026. But the Strip’s median household income declined on several major event days, suggesting that those events helped draw a broader audience across demographics to the Strip at-large.
