Kelsey Mitchell scored 27 points, leading the Indiana Fever to an 84-68 victory over the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday at T-Mobile Arena.
Mitchell entered the game averaging a team-high 21.6 points per game, the third-highest mark in the WNBA.
The victory was Indiana’s third straight over Las Vegas, though the Fever are 4-21 against the Aces since the franchise relocated to Las Vegas in 2018. This was Indiana’s first win in 12 games in Las Vegas.
Both teams were shorthanded: Aces (15-6) star center A’ja Wilson missed her third consecutive game with an ankle injury sustained in Chicago on June 28; the Fever (12-8) played without star guard Caitlin Clark, who missed her second straight game with a lingering back injury.
