
NaLyssa Smith posts a season high 29 points to lead the Las Vegas Aces to a 98-90 overtime victory over the Chicago Sky on Friday night at T-Mobile Arena.
Smith entered the game leading the WNBA in field-goal percentage at 66.1% and finished 11 of 14 from the field while adding seven makes from the free throw line.
Chelsea Gray delivered the game’s biggest shot, knocking down a pull-up jumper from the top of the key to force overtime. Las Vegas then outscored Chicago 12-2 in the extra period to secure the victory.
The win improved the Aces to 16-2 against the Sky under coach Becky Hammon and extended their winning streak over Chicago to seven games, including the 2022 Commissioner’s Cup championship and postseason meetings.
