
A stabbing occurred in the west valley Wednesday that resulted in the victim’s hospitalization, police said.
The Metropolitan Police Department said in a release the department received a call just before 3:30 p.m., advising that a person had been stabbed near the intersection of North Rainbow Boulevard and West Lake Mead Boulevard. The victim was transported to a local hospital in unknown medical condition, the release said.
One person who may be involved in the stabbing was detained, but the investigation remains in its initial stages, Metro said.
