Step into T-Mobile Arena for any regular-season match or high-stakes playoff game and you will witness a first-class operation. To the rest of the hockey world, the Vegas Golden Knights are often one of the most reviled teams in the league. Why? The answer is simple: Because we win.
Since our christening, this franchise has stacked up playoff victories at a historic pace. We are a fan base spoiled by excellence. From owner Bill Foley down to the part-time arena staff turning over the ice, every single detail is covered with precision. Three Stanley Cup Final appearances in just nine seasons of existence have provided memories and excitement on an unheard-of scale.
No disrespect is intended toward the Las Vegas Aces — who have rightfully set their own world-class championship standard. But the Knights galvanized our community during its darkest days following the Oct. 1 tragedy. They gave a grieving city an opportunity to stand together.
While the sting of the final round will fade, our enduring gratitude will not. Thank you, VGK. Go Knights Go!
