
A man who was severely injured after striking a power utility pole Wednesday in the east Las Vegas Valley has died, police said Friday.
The crash occurred just after 8:50 p.m. on North Lamb Boulevard, north of East Washington Avenue, according to a Metropolitan Police Department release. The driver, a 47-year-old Las Vegas man, was taken to University Medical Center’s Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries.
The Clark County coroner’s office notified Metro on Thursday that the victim had died.
The crash remains under investigation by Metro’s Collision Investigation Section.
