This house is a kaleidoscope of changing colors, literally.
Dubbed the “Kaleidoscope House,” the home at 7852 W Torino Ave., recently sold for $2.1 million.
What makes the home unique is its eye-catching exterior. Painted on the east- and north-facing facade of the home is a kaleidoscope-esque mural, painted by Colorado artists Jake Amason and Megan Walker.
“Part of the reason why we went so bright with the colors was that all the houses out there are really brown,” Amason told the Review-Journal in 2023. “So it’s kind of fun to just, like, pop and make it contrast against the rest of the neighborhoods.
Looking at the home is akin to gazing through a kaleidoscope, with abstract shapes sprayed across the sides of the home. It took around 400 cans of spray paint to complete the mural.
Even more unique is the home was rebought by the home’s original owner, Brandon Bowsky. According to Clark County property records, Bowsky bought the house in September 2022, sold it to Vacay Vegas LLC in November 2024, before repurchasing the home on April 20.
Bowsky’s face is even on the side of the house, said listing agent Courtney Bentley with IS Luxury. Bentley was also the listing agent for the property when it was on the market in 2024. She said the first thing everyone wanted to do was paint over the art.
“What’s super interesting is that they (the previous buyers) didn’t get rid of the art,” said Bentley. “What makes it really unique is not only the art, but the lot, size and the location.”
The one-story home is in southwest Las Vegas off South Buffalo Drive and West Ford Avenue. It sits on around two-thirds of an acre, with 4,569 square feet, four bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The home sticks out while driving down Buffalo Drive, and that’s the point. The artists “wanted it to be like a desert oasis or a mirage.”
Additionally, the home has a 77-foot lap pool, which can’t even be built anymore, spa, sandy volleyball court, tennis and basketball courts, built-in barbecue area and no homeowners association.
