A man told Las Vegas police he woke up in his Strip hotel room to find $1,200 missing from his wallet and more than $32,000 in unauthorized Apple Pay and Wells Fargo transactions after he brought two women he had met the night before to his room, police said.

The man arrived at Aria with a woman later identified by police as Brenae Sandusky in the early hours of Feb. 24, according to a report from the Metropolitan Police Department. They had met at Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan.

Aria surveillance footage showed another woman, later identified by police as Linda Green, join them.

The man told police he drank about 10 mixed drinks that night and did not remember how he got from the nightclub to his hotel room. He said he did not believe the women were sex workers and that there was no agreement for sexual acts in exchange for money, according to the report.

The group drank a bottle of wine from the minibar, went in the hot tub and “a short time later the three agreed to go to sleep,” the man told a Las Vegas police detective, according to the report.

Hotel surveillance footage showed the women leaving the property at 6:34 a.m. and getting into a cab, according to police.

When he woke at about 9 a.m., he noticed his wallet was open on a dresser, with $1,200 in cash missing. He also received notifications from Apple and Wells Fargo about unauthorized transfers and transactions, police said.

The Apple Pay transactions totalled $9,113, while the Wells Fargo transactions totaled $23,400, according to the report.

On March 27, Metro issued a flyer containing surveillance images of the two women. An MGM Resorts International investigator told a detective that the photos appeared to be Linda Green and Brenae Sandusky. Those names matched the recipients of unauthorized wire transfers sent from Martinez’s phone, according to the report.

Green is due in court Oct. 6. and faces charges including grand larceny and theft. A warrant has been issued for Sandusky’s arrest on a charge of theft of $25,000 or more but less than $100,000, court records show.
