A pedestrian was struck and killed Thursday morning in North Las Vegas.
The crash occurred around 9:33 a.m. near the intersection of North Lamb Boulevard and East Lone Mountain Road, according to a North Las Vegas Police Department spokesperson. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lamb Boulevard is closed in both directions in the area while investigators process the scene, police said. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
