There will be another celebration for the Paseo Verde Little League team.
The U.S. champions will be feted from 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 19 the Lee’s Family Forum Tiltyard, the City of Henderson announced on its Facebook page.
Paseo Verde captured the U.S. title Saturday with a 12-2 win over Hamilton, Ohio, representing the Great Lakes Region, before falling 11-2 to Curaçao in the world championship game.
The Henderson celebration will include giveaways and fun for all, the announcement said.
