Centennial won a shootout over Burbank (California) 74-41 and host Perry (Arizona) at 7 p.m. Friday. Arbor View had a bye and plays at Hamilton (Arizona), ranked No. 16 nationally by MaxPreps, at 7 p.m. Friday.
Sloan Canyon beat Muir (California) 35-20 and hosts Losee at 7 p.m. Friday. Foothill scored a late touchdown to beat defending 5A state champion Spanish Springs 28-24. The Falcons face Mililani (Hawaii) at 7 p.m. Saturday at Liberty. Mater East beat Victor Valley (California) 26-7 and hosts University City (California) at 7 p.m. Friday.
Palo Verde racked up 311 rushing yards to crush Desert Oasis 42-18 on Friday. The Panthers have a bye this week. Coronado rolled past Canyon Springs 55-14 and has a bye this week. Moapa Valley rolled past Mojave 42-12 and plays at Silverado at 7 p.m. Friday.
