The Bishop Gorman football team’s game against Columbus (Florida) has been delayed due to lightning.
Kickoff was set for 11 a.m. PDT/2 p.m. EDT at the game in Florida on the campus of St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
Gorman and Columbus just received the all clear to get onto the field to warm up, but kickoff will be delayed from its scheduled start.
Gorman’s season-opening game against Losee on Aug. 14 was impacted due to lightning. The game was called at halftime with the Gaels taking a 41-0 win.
