The Las Vegas Aces announced the signing of former No. 7 overall pick Kalani Brown on Saturday morning.
The addition of the 6-foot-7 center comes after the Aces lost forward NaLyssa Smith to a season-ending injury last week, giving Las Vegas added frontcourt depth as the team looks to fill the void in its rotation.
“The Las Vegas Aces are thrilled to welcome Kalani to the family,” Aces president and general manager Nikki Fargas said in a statement. “She brings an extremely diverse defensive skill set, has a great paint presence, and is a strong rebounder.
“Kalani has made such an impact on each team she’s played for and will have continued success in an Aces uniform.”
Brown was drafted in 2019 by the Los Angeles Sparks and has also played for the Atlanta Dream and Dallas Wings. Most recently, she was a member of the Phoenix Mercury during their 2025 WNBA Finals matchup against the Aces.
The former Baylor standout and three-time All-American has averaged 5.7 points and 3.5 rebounds while shooting 57.5 percent from the field across 139 career games.
