Las Vegas Raiders rookie edge defender Keyron Crawford left Thursday night’s preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers in the third quarter with an ankle injury.
The third-round pick out of Auburn was immediately ruled out by the team.
Crawford, who recorded the team’s lone sack of the game, was trying to get around the edge when he was dragged down by an offensive tackle and remained on the field.
He was helped off the field by the athletic trainers before being carted back to the locker room.
Crawford had been showing steady improvement late in training camp. The team had no further updates in his status.
