The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred late Saturday night in the northeast Las Vegas Valley.
According to a release from Metro, police received a report of a male stabbed in a vacant lot in the 2400 block of Hinkle Drive at approximately 11:44 p.m.
Officers arrived and located a male suffering from an apparent stab wound. Officers rendered aid until medical personnel arrived the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
LVMPD Homicide Section is investigating.
