An off-Strip resort announced Wednesday that it is adding a dedicated non-smoking area to its casino floor.
The Palms Casino Resort said in a news release that it will debut a new, fully enclosed non-smoking gaming area on Aug. 24, adding 7,300 square feet of dedicated casino space.
“Unlike a designated non-smoking section within the existing casino floor, the new space offers guests a distinct, enclosed gaming environment with its own full-service bar,” the property said in the release.
In addition to a full-service bar, the enclosed non-smoking gaming area will feature 224 of the newest and most popular slot games.
“Guest feedback drives so much of what we do, and expanding our non-smoking gaming options is something we’ve heard consistently,” said Kevin Glass, General Manager of Palms Casino Resort. “This new space combines over 200 of the latest games, a dedicated bar, and a new gaming experience to create an entirely new way to play at Palms. And since Palms was recently recognized as one of the luckiest casinos in the country, we thought we’d make a little more room for the winning to continue.”
