Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Carter Hart is suspended from Hockey Canada for a year after an appeal board confirmed five players charged in the 2018 sexual assault case involving Hockey Canada violated the organization’s code of conduct.
Hart will be ineligible to compete in international competition until Nov. 10, 2027. The ruling does not affect his NHL eligibility.
Hart was one of five players from Canada’s 2018 World Junior hockey team that was charged — and later acquitted — in connection with an incident in June 2018 in London, Ontario.
