The Las Vegas Raiders have bolstered their depth on the offensive line by adding a former fourth-round pick on Wednesday.
Braeden Daniels, a 2023 selection of the Washington Commanders out of Utah, signed a day before the team is scheduled to open its preseason schedule against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday at Allegiant Stadium.
Offensive guard Justin Pickett was waived/injured to make room on the roster.
Daniels spent most of 2025 on the Miami Dolphins’ practice squad. He has also spent time with the Houston Texans, Los Angeles Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys, though he has yet to appear in a regular-season game.
The 6-foot-4, 305-pounder played in 49 games, including 43 starts, in his five seasons with the Utes. He brings versatility, a trait coveted by the Raiders. Daniels made starts at left guard, left tackle and right tackle in college on his way to two all-conference nods.
