Westernwear brand Tecovas will open its first permanent Nevada location in Downtown Summerlin on July 29.
A grand opening celebration will be held at the outdoor shopping mall July 31 through Aug. 2, the brand announced.
Best known for cowboy boots, Tecovas was founded in Texas in 2015 and has since expanded with stores across the country. The Downtown Summerlin store marks the brand’s 70th store nationwide.
The grand opening will feature live music and complimentary drinks. Acoustic guitarist Kevin Krieg will perform Friday 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. and Las Vegas country artist Michael Braun will perform Saturday 10 a.m – 1 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. There will also be complimentary leather typography by local artist Susan Houseman Saturday 2-6 p.m. and Sunday 3-7 p.m. Additionally, the first 50 customers in store each day during the grand opening will receive a Tecovas gift bag.
The brand says its goal with its stores is to bring “radical hospitality” by “reimagining the boot-buying experience entirely, which traditionally is intimidating, cluttered, and unrefined.”
In addition to boots and clothing, the store offers complimentary boot shines, personalized leather stamping, boot stretching and leather and hat branding.
