A’ja Wilson posted a game-high 26 points to lead the Las Vegas Aces to a 109-83 victory over the Toronto Tempo on Monday night, securing their league-leading 11th road win of the season.
Wilson also knocked down three 3-pointers, passing Edwige Lawson-Wade for No. 12 on the franchise’s all-time made 3-pointers list while continuing to shoot better than 40 percent from beyond the arc this season.
Aces guard and fellow All-Star Jackie Young recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 24 points and a season-high 12 assists.
Young has now scored at least 15 points in 10 of the Aces’ last 11 games while shooting better than 45 percent from the field in nine of those contests.
The Aces’ fourth road win in their last five games away from home improved their overall record to 18-7 while moving into third place in the WNBA standings.
