Smith’s Food & Drug has unveiled plans to open a sprawling new grocery store in North Las Vegas next year.
The supermarket chain announced Tuesday that it’s building a 122,000-square-foot store at 900 W. Tule Springs Parkway, just north of the 215 Beltway at Revere Street.
According to the news release, the $35.9 million store is scheduled to be completed in 2027 and will mark the 48th Smith’s in Nevada.
“North Las Vegas is growing and we are excited to open a new Smith’s store in the area,” Smith’s President Kenny Kimball said in the release.
Smith’s, owned by grocery giant The Kroger Co., is one of the biggest supermarket chains in the Las Vegas Valley.
Its new location in North Las Vegas has been in the works for some time.
Smith’s purchased the roughly 11-acre site for about $14.8 million in spring 2024, property records show.
