The Las Vegas Raiders signed wide receiver Brandon Johnson and placed wide receiver Corey Rucker on injured reserve, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.
Johnson, 27, didn’t log an NFL snap in 2025, debuting in 2022 with the Denver Broncos — for whom Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak was the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach — as an undrafted free agent. In 23 games with the Broncos (2022, 2023) and Pittsburgh Steelers (2024), he has 26 receptions, 335 receiving yards and five touchdowns, including four in 2023.
He served last season on the practice squads for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Broncos and was released Tuesday by the Steelers.
Rucker too was an undrafted free agent this year by way of Arkansas State, for which he the all-time leading receiver. He concluded his collegiate career with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.
