LETTER: Oct. 1 Memorial Fund still short

What happened to Vegas Strong? The Review-Journal recently ran a story noting that about $27 million has been raised for the October 1 Memorial Fund. They need $7 million in additional funding to get it going and break ground.

I find it amazing that in a community that rakes in more than $1 billion per month just in gaming wins can’t come up with $34 million over 10 years to fund a memorial to what a lot of people in Vegas would say is the most devastating event to have ever happened here
