One person is dead following a crash in Spring Valley on Thursday.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, a pedestrian died after they were struck by a vehicle at South Decatur Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road. The crash happened just after 9:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The identity of the person who died was not released. Police asked that the public avoid the area as they continued investigating the crash Thursday night.
