
An infant was hospitalized in critical condition Monday night after being found in a pool in the central Las Vegas Valley, according to police.
The Metropolitan Police Department said in an email Tuesday that officers responded at 6:12 p.m. to a report of an unresponsive infant found in a pool in the 1100 block of Francis Avenue, near Charleston Boulevard and Maryland Parkway.
Police said that officers immediately started CPR.
The infant was taken to a hospital in critical condition, and the investigation is ongoing, according to the department.
