Looking for a way to celebrate spring in Las Vegas?
Check out the butterfly habitat at Springs Preserve, which is open through May 25. The family-favorite habitat at the preserve reopened in April.
The outdoor exhibit allows guests to walk (slowly and delicately) among several butterfly species. The habitat features blooming flowers, as butterflies free-fly between them to feed and lounge. The habitat is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays.
In certain hot conditions, the exhibit will be closed to the public. Guests are asked to check with the Springs Preserve if the habitat is open before arriving on hotter days.
Entry to the butterfly exhibit is included with admission, which is $9.95 for adult Nevadans and $4.95 for children aged 3 to 17. Children 2 and under are free.
