Duke and UConn will meet the night before Thanksgiving in Las Vegas in a rematch of their thrilling 2026 Elite Eight game, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
The two storied college programs will play on Nov. 25 at T-Mobile Arena, with an official announcement expected by the end of the week, the source said.
UConn last played at T-Mobile Arena during the 2023 NCAA men’s tournament, beating Arkansas in the Sweet Sixteen and Gonzaga in the Elite Eight that year. UConn eventually went on to beat outgoing Mountain West school San Diego State for the national championship that year.
Duke last appeared in Las Vegas in 2024 in a losing effort against Kansas at T-Mobile Arena. Duke has played at T-Mobile two other times, notching wins against UNLV and Gonzaga in 2016 and 2021, respectively.
Duke is set to return to Las Vegas in 2027 as part of the Hall of Fame Series in which it will face Arizona along with Kansas facing Indiana in the first basketball games held at Allegiant Stadium. The high-profile series will serve as a dry run ahead of Allegiant hosting the 2028 Final Four.
