Police say a pedestrian fleeing a crash on a Las Vegas freeway was struck and killed by two vehicles.
The Nevada Highway Patrol said in a news release that the crash occurred at 9:11 p.m. Friday on northbound Interstate 15, south of the Lake Mead Boulevard off-ramp.
Police said the pedestrian had fled from a crash that occurred on northbound I-15 near the northbound I-11 ramp and was illegally in the roadway.
A black 2008 Ford F-350 Super Duty Pickup traveling north hit the pedestrian before a silver 2019 Toyota Camry sedan also struck the pedestrian.
Both drivers remained at the scene and are cooperating with investigators, police noted.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
