New Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Fernando Mendoza spoke to the media during his first day in the building Friday.
Mendoza, who won a national championship and Heisman Trophy for Indiana, was the No. 1 overall pick of the franchise during Thursday’s opening round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
He arrived in southern Nevada on Friday and is in the team facility with his family after flying in from Miami, where he watched the first round of the draft at home.
The draft resumes at 4 p.m. The Raiders will have two picks on Friday and seven more on Saturday.
