– Ian Denney, Mater East: The freshman went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs as the Knights defeated SLAM! Nevada 11-1 in five innings.
– Matthew Kelley, Basic: The senior went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs in the Wolves’ six-inning 10-0 win over Coronado.
– Nicholas Maffey, Clark: The junior tossed a six-hit complete game and also went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Chargers past Cheyenne 5-1.
– Lucas Salas, The Meadows: The freshman had two doubles and two RBIs to help the Mustangs beat Cadence 15-0 in three innings.
– Colin Walker, Desert Oasis: The senior pitcher struck out five while holding Las Vegas to six hits over 6.2 innings in the Diamondbacks’ 2-0 victory.
Softball
– Madison Castellon, Legacy: The senior struck out five while tossing a three-inning no-hitter in the Longhorns’ 16-0 victory over Las Vegas.
– Sophia DeMonbrun, Clark: The junior struck out 20 while pitching a complete-game two-hitter as the Chargers defeated Mojave 7-1.
– Ava Henderson, Arbor View: The junior went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and four RBIs to lead the Aggies past Basic 15-2 in five innings.
– Emily Hodsdon, Bonanza: The senior had two doubles and four RBIs in the Bengals’ three-inning 22-3 win over Western.
– Ava Koenig, Palo Verde: The senior struck out 13 while throwing a no-hitter as the Panthers cruised to a 9-0 win over Shadow Ridge.
– Nolly Newbry, Desert Oasis: The sophomore went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs to help the Diamondbacks roll past Spring Valley 17-2 in four innings.
Boys volleyball
– Zaihen Bailey, Sierra Vista: The senior logged seven kills, seven digs and three aces as the Mountain Lions rolled past Virgin Valley 25-22, 25-12, 25-13.
– Porter Hughes, Basic: The senior racked up 19 kills, three aces and a block to lead the Wolves past Shadow Ridge 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, 25-21.
– Alava Roberts, Green Valley: The junior had 12 assists and two blocks in the Gators’ 25-24, 25-21, 25-13 loss to Foothill.
– Keagan Sugden, Arbor View: The junior had 45 assists as Coronado outlasted the Aggies for an 18-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, 18-16 victory.
