
Recently, Chinese EV manufacturer BYD unveiled two new breakthroughs — a new battery that can get more than 600 miles of range and charge up to 430 miles of range in five minutes, and a new charging that can charge up to 1,500 kW. Most U.S.-based fast chargers are 150-350 kW.
EV sales continue to grow everywhere around the world, except in the United States due to President Donald Trump’s misguided policies. Chinese companies are building EVs and increasing sales in Europe, Southeast Asia, South America, and now even Canada. The new technology out of China shows it is going to be the world leader in car manufacturing very soon.
In about two to three years, our U.S. car companies are going to be shells of themselves when they can’t compete in the world market anymore. What a shame.
