The Las Vegas Raiders have officially been awarded two compensatory picks in April’s NFL draft, the league announced Monday.
It was the expected outcome based on the formula, but the Raiders now know for certain they will have 11 picks once the Maxx Crosby trade goes through and where they will fall.
Compensatory picks are awarded based on free agents who are signed and signed away the previous season.
The departing players who were factored into the equation were defensive end K’Lavon Chaisson, linebacker Divine Deablo, safety Tre’von Moehrig, and linebacker Robert Spillane.
Safety Jeremy Chinn, linebacker Elandon Roberts and cornerback Eric Stokes were all brought in.
The Raiders got a fourth-round pick (No. 134 overall) and a fifth-round pick (175).
A total of 33 compensatory picks were awarded to 15 different teams.
