One new linebacker wasn’t enough for the Las Vegas Raiders.
General manager John Spytek already added Quay Walker from the Packers and then doubled up with Walker’s college teammate at Georgia, Nakobe Dean from the Eagles.
The moves mark a drastic and much-needed overhaul of the linebacker room.

It’s the latest move on a very busy opening day of free agency.
Nakobe Dean grade: A
Dean has been very good when he’s been able to stay healthy.
He is good against the run and serviceable in coverage, but his elite trait is as a pass rusher.
Dean was able to pressure the quarterback 36 percent of the time when he was sent last season, tops in the league. That will help pick up some of the slack from the loss of Maxx Crosby.
Spytek was able to get him for $12 million per season and getting him back with Walker could unlock both of their potential.
