UNLV’s football team will know what it’s like to be road warriors to begin the 2026 season.
The Rebels will play three of their first four games away from Allegiant Stadium, including against Mountain West opponent Hawaii on Sept. 5.
The conference schedule was released Monday.
UNLV opens coach Dan Mullen’s second season by hosting Memphis on Aug. 29. It’s the first meeting between the schools. It’s also the second straight year UNLV will play in Week Zero.
From there, the Rebels will travel to Hawaii and North Texas on Sept. 12 before enjoying one of two bye weeks Sept. 19.
UNLV then returns to play at Akron on Sept. 26 before hosting Cal on Oct. 3.
The rest of the schedule are Mountain West games.
A few highlights: UNLV’s first three opponents were a combined 29-11 last season, including two bowl victories.
The game at Hawaii ties the earliest conference matchup in UNLV history.
The sixth game sees new conference member North Dakota State visiting Allegiant Stadium on Oct. 10.
UNLV’s second bye will come Oct. 24 after a game at Air Force on Oct. 17.
New conference member Northern Illinois visits Oct. 31, followed by Wyoming on Nov. 7. The Rebels then play at New Mexico on Nov. 14 and San Jose State on Nov. 21 before hosting intrastate rival UNR on Nov. 28 to close the regular season.
Game times and TV information will be released at a later date.
All dates are tentative. There could be a number of games moved to Fridays.
