The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a Friday morning crash on the Las Vegas Strip involving an autonomous Zoox vehicle owned by Amazon.
Authorities said in a text message that troopers responded to the injury crash at 9:01 a.m. on southbound Las Vegas Boulevard at Four Seasons Drive.
NHP said the crash involved a silver Nissan Murano and an autonomous Zoox vehicle. The Nissan’s driver was transported to a local hospital, police said.
Lanes were closed in the area while police investigated the crash.
